What is the Rain Room Aerial Experience?
If you've ever dreamed of doing a rain shoot on an aerial hoop, this is your chance! This unique experience is being offered September 20th, 2026. Have the opportunity to get photos and video! Enhance your portfolio and show your creativity, grace, edginess and skill!
Only a limited number of sessions are available.
Where is this shoot?
This shoot will be held at The Daydream Studio in Hurst, TX at 1060 W. Pipeline Road, to the West of Dallas and Northeast of Fort Worth.
Is the water cold?
Every effort will be made to utilize heated water so your experience in the rain is comfortable.
What aerial apparatuses and rigging will be provided?
Lyra, Aerial Heart, Aerial Chains and Flying Pole (by request), along with a small A-frame for rigging will be available for participant use. All rigging shall be done by Anastasia, the owner of the A-Frame.
Can I use additional apparatuses?
Participants wishing to use other standard apparatuses may bring their own, as long as it can be attached to the A-Frame. Unique aerial apparatuses must be pre-approved by Anastasia prior to the shoot date. Note: The ceiling is NOT equipped for aerial rigging.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Participants must sign a contract and liability waiver, included in the Terms and Conditions. While reasonable precautions will be taken, aerial arts involve inherent risks that may be increased by wet surfaces and reduced visibility in the rain environment. For this reason, this experience is recommended for intermediate and advanced aerial artists.
Will there be outfits provided?
No, you must bring your own outfit(s).
Is this shoot for all aerial artists?
This shoot is designed for intermediate and advanced aerial artists. Due to the rain environment and limited session time, participants should be comfortable mounting, posing and transitioning on their apparatus independently so we can focus on creating stunning photo and video content.
I am a dancer, not an aerial artist. Is this shoot open to me?
Yes! The rain shoot originally started as a shoot for dancers to do creative ballet, contemporary and acro poses in the rain. You are encouraged to come and continue that tradition!
Can I bring a friend, coach, or assistant?
Yes, one guest may accompany you to assist, provided they follow studio safety guidelines.
How do I choose my final images?
A gallery of proofs will be provided within a few days after the session. Participants then select the images for professional retouching and delivery.
Can minors participate?
Yes. Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required contracts, waivers, and releases before the session. A parent or legal guardian shall be required to remain on-site during the experience. Anyone under the age of 16 must also use the provided small white safety mat if using an aerial apparatus.
How long until I get the media from the shoot?
This depends on how many participants there are. From past experience, with 5 participants, all received their final images within 5 weeks, depending on order of participation, payment and post-processing time after choosing their favorites.
How will you help ensure rigging safety?
Everything will be rigged, tested and supervised by an experienced aerial coach throughout the shoot.
